Terrordrome pretty much has it perfect. Just add Ripley, Xenomorph and Predator.

I'm not familiar with Terrordome's roster, so I might suggest characters that are already in it.


Djinn (from the Wishmaster movies)

From the TCM series other than Leatherface: Chop Top, Hitchhiker, Sheriff Hoyt and Grandpa. Grandpa should be the weakest and the slowest character, a joke character, pretty much.

The Shining: Jack Torrance, and Wendy, who's armed with a baseball bat, a knife and is completely hysterical.

Hellraiser, other than Pinhead: Other Cenobites like Chatterer and Channard, and maybe Julia.

The Dentist, from the Dentist movies starring Corbin Bernsen. He should drill into his opponent's teeth for an attack.

Pumpkinhead

I agree with MacyG88 about Ripley, the Alien and the Predator. Ripley should have Vasquez, Hicks, Hudson, Apone and Ripley 8 as alts, and be armed with guns from Aliens such as the pulse rifle and the smartgun.

Horace Pinker (Shocker)

Leprechaun (from the movies named after it)

F13, other than Jason: His mom, Pamela.

A zombie from the "Return of the living dead" movies, that can talk and run.

Characters and creatures from horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill (who says only movies should be represented?).

The Winchester bros (Supernatural), and maybe some critters from that TV series, too.

Jigsaw (Saw), with trap-oriented gameplay.

I wouldn't mind MK characters, like Drahmin, Moloch, Havik, Baraka or Mileena, but we'd probably get borin' old Scorpion again, like there's anything horrifying about him other than his stale storyline.

Victim. Basically, the classic horror movie protagonist. The victim should have several horror movie protagonists as selectable skins, such as Laurie Strode (Halloween). Alternately, they could just be alts for Wendy. Players should also have the option to create their own skins for the victim.

You know who else such a game absolutely needs? The Kung Fu priest from Peter Jackson's Braindead/Dead Alive movie!

Oh, and Derek from Bad Taste, another horror gem from Peter Jackson.

Since we're talking TV characters, I'd also add Mulder and Scully (X-Files, duh), as well as Ichabod Crane, Abbie Mills and the Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow, and Dexter Morgan (Why not? A lot of characters in such a game would be serial killers anyway, and Dexter was partially a horror show).

Also, who here wouldn't mind if a horror-themed fighting game's gameplay was exactly like a MK game's? I'd have no problem with unique gameplay features, but I truly wouldn't mind if it literally was "Horror Kombat". MKX was a great game for the four guests to take on one another in.

Finally, should such a game get it's own story mode? I'd really love to see how NRS would handle a storyline featuring various horror icons.

All restrictions out the window, I'd love to see classic monsters square off against the new-wave horror baddies in an INJUSTICE style game.
