If anyone has been to the arcades in the past few months, you've probably noticed people playing a game that requires you to move your foot on different spots on a metal pad. Well yesterday was my first experience playing this game and it was actually okay. Although I got a low score it's quite entertaining to watch others as well.

My sister and cousin LOVES playing DDR. Everytime we go to the arcades, they play on it for hours. They even enjoy WATCHING people for hours lol.

IMO its alright, i never tried it, maybe i might. Some of the Techno music it has are pretty sweet though.

You should give it a try and don't get imbarrased if you mess up either. The first time I played DDR I looked like an idiot but I got the hang of it.

I won't play it in arcades because every song is the worst song on earth.

I wont play it in the arcades because it involves dancing, stupidly, in front of people.

My dyslexia won't let me play it. My brain can't interpret the arrow patterns properly, and I almost had a seizure playing it.

LOL!! Ya, my buddy/roomate and I used to do a lot of arcade jumping while going to shool in Seattle. He was/is a HUGE DDR player, while I was of course getting my Tekken on. He'd go everywhere and just rape the machines top scores, lol. He'd always be like "dude, I gotta take Jr. - another player - completely off the scores chart" lol. It was too good. He had all the emulator shit and the metal pads at home to practice on, lol. Top tier indeed.

I could never get into it, but I can see how some peeps can. Though, I guess it's totally dead in japan now. Anyone see some of those DDR videos? I saw one with this one legged dude dancing!! 0_0 It was actually quite inspiring.

It's like THE DDR site, I guess. They have a Media/Video section for tournies. Though, I'm not sure where most of the vids I saw came from. My buddy would just find random shit and yell out "dude, you gotta check this shit out!!" lol.
I'm sure you can do a google on "DDR videos" and find some sweet stuff, though.

Meh, sorry. I'm not a bemani freak, so i don't have a shit load of links at my disposal. I'd just pimp google and the DDR Freak forums for links. I think there's an IRC channel, too. They could have some vids.

Just because you tried it and failed 4 times in a row doesn't mean you have the right to bash it. Same for you Hyuga.

You ignorant fool. I can triple A half the songs I have on my PC. All of the arcade songs are shit, though, and those responsible for their creation can die. Same goes to anybody who enjoys listening to them.

Do you not understand the concept of disliking shitty songs? They're all the fucking same. Happy hardcore at 200 beats per minute with some fucking terrible singing over top.

I never tried. Nor will I ever try something as fucking stupid as Dance Dance Revolution. So you're theory of me trying it 4 times and failing it is totally void.

I've seen people got to the arcades and dominate all of the scores at some DDR Machines, seems like he is pretty good at it.

I'm into some of the techno songs on DDR. But yeah, if you're into other techno artists like Dieselboy, that's cool too.

NOOOO!!! DDR has infected MKO, all is lost!! But seriously though, I've known about the game for a couple of years now, and I think I'm the only person amongst my little group of friends who doesn't like that game.

This is how I feel about DDR sometimes
