i was thinking about famous people who died, but could've had potential if they hadn't. Three people that come to mind off the top of my head are Chris Farley, Tupac, and BIG. Also you have Elvis, but could've kept going. If you can think of any, please add them to the list.

Well everyone mentioned had more than potential, they were all famous. I could see if you said Jane Doe, an unknown actress. She had potential. But if you say Elvis had potential its kinda obvious. Imagaine me telling Michael Jordan that I thought he had potential as a basketball player. He does not need validation for something he already accomplished.

That is exactly who I was going to put! She had talent, a great voice and was extremely beautiful. She had many great things to come imo.

Brandon Lee...poor guy; died while filming a movie about a dead guy coming back to life.
0
Owen Hart and most of those listed above.

The first person that comes to mind when I hear the word potential is Randy Rhoads. He was like 22 when he died... still so much he could have done.
I'll also mention those well-known musicians who all died at 27... Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain. Granted, they are all famous, but I feel there could have been so much more they could have accomplished.

I would definetly have to agree on Randy Rhodes.

Owen Hart's death is the whole reason I don't watch wrestling anymore. I've always been a fan of the whole Hart family, and when Owen died, BAM! My whole reason for watching wrestling died with it.
I say Randy Rhoads, Cliff Burton, and Drowning Pool's Dave Williams all could've accomplished a lot more if they hadn't died so young.

Owen Hart
Brad Nowell
Cliff Burton
John Lennon
Kurt Cobain would be on my list, but when he died he was ready to leave the music biz all together. But we'll never know.

Not to sound like a dick but, those people are who they are because of how, when, and why they died. I wouldn't say I'm glad they are dead but I will say I wouldn't change it had I the chance. Anyways as far as untapped potential is concerned I would have to go with Tupac Shakur (Poetry, Social Activism) and Bruce Lee (Martial Arts, Philosophy).

River Pheonix, Jim Morrison, Marvin Gaye, AAliyah, Chris Farley, Kurt Cobain, Minnie Rippertin(sp?)

I'd have to say Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, and Aaliyah. But hmm, we cant be to sure Tupac is really dead.

Cliff Burton; I read that Lars Ulrich once said that if Cliff hadn't died, Load and Reload never would have happened, and if that were so, the world would probably be a better place.
