Kind of annoying on one hand (I hate it when games have "Ultimate" versions) but on the other hand it's kind of exciting. I need to see more.

I defended SSF4 and Ultimate MvC3 because those were substantial expansions. Nothing I've seen so far tells me this is worth throwing money at.

Did the original DOA5 even do well in the market? Who is asking for this expansion?

So sick of these "Ultimate" versions. Why should anyone even buy the game at launch if they just release another one with more content for the same price not even a year later?

The same can be said for MK9 and Injustice which will eventually follow this same trend same time next year. Unless, PS4 becomes more relevant then the prowess of a complete edition.

I never buy new games to begin with. I always wait for them to drop to $8.

Like NG3: Razor's Edge, this might be $40 lol.

I will only buy it if they sell for $40 or less. I have vanilla DOA5 and it's a good game but content was seriously lacking, especially in the way of costumes which the game is known for.

They could have made way more of them unlockable instead of charging an arm and a leg for lackluster DLC though. But in the trailer it seems we're getting new stages, a few new characters (old and new), new win poses, new tag teams, all new costumes, and hairstyles.

I'm on the fence about it. If it's $40, it'll probably be a first day buy for me. If not, I'll wait for it to be in the used games bin.

I personally hope to see more Virtua Fighter characters. Have to admit I was a bit disappointed seeing Jacky but I guess he's just too iconic to not include him. Still hoping I'll get to see Vanessa, Eileen, or El Blaze.

The more I think about DOA5 Ultimate the more I get irritated that characters like Ein and Leon weren't just included from the get go. I thought originally that perhaps they didn't include Ein because Hayate is so far removed from his DOA2 incarnation that it didn't make sense to include him. I also thought that perhaps Leon had become irrelevant from gameplay perspective due to his similarity to Bayman and that his more MMA style had been replaced by Mila. Now that they're coming back I just can't see a reason for not including them other than the obvious reason.

Oh well. I'm a DOA addict so I'll get this anyway even if it does make me want to fly to Japan to personally kick each member of Team Ninja between the legs. At least Lost World is coming back, that was my favorite stage from DOA3.

Ein and Leon were going to be in, but they were cut due to time constraints :l

Either way, I suppose I'm excited to see what else they're going to do with this game. I just hope they don't continue to "Capcom" us with future DOA fighting titles because this is one of my FAVORITE video game franchises.

It'd be very disheartening if it goes down that way...
