No you can not delete an account.The only way to change your name is requesting a change from a moderator.However you have to start over with a new name.You can not use your old name either.

The thing is I would but for some reason when I tried to make an account I never got the email to confirm it. So I asked a friend to make the account for me. Now he wants to post and I just like reading the fourms now and when he tries to post he is banned. So....I need to delete this account so he can post.

You cannot delete an account. You can have it banned if you want it to not be used and create another one however. Contact a mod for full details.
