Viacom didnt pay a fee they owe to Dish Networks.I dont have Dish Networks but the only channel that they took off of DN that I like is Comedy Central.The other stations like MTV and Nickelodeon can go.

Actually, it's because those channels made deals with cable companies.... and the cables united against satellite...

I just noticed this last night with VH1. From what I read, they said Viacom was asking for an "unreasonable" price for the Dish Network to carry it (and I'm sure other Viacom owned channels), so until they come to an agreement, those channels won't be on it.

This guy at work just got Dish about 4 weeks ago, first he didn't have the local sports channel that all the games are on, now he lost CBS, MTV, Comedy Central, etc. Man did I let him have it this morning

I am with bell express vu (dish network canadian cousin) and I still got all the channels.

I'm feeling that pain aswell. I hope Comedy Central is back on soon, At least by this Friday afternoon. I'd hate to miss my favorite Stand-ups.

Of course until then, I'll be missing last night's Conan O'Brien, Tough Crowd, SNL, Mad TV, The Daily Show.

I can care less about those other channels, and the other shows on MTV2. All I care is that I get to watch Headbangers Ball!

Apparently, the whole mess is over. At least I think so 'cause I have VH1 again and I saw a recorded message from Dish Network's owner alluding something like that.
