I think hes just typical green tentacle monster cyclops thing. The only thing that kind of sets him appart is the floating crown above his head. If he is from somewhere i am sure thats the easiest way to identify him.

Definitely not Kano or Smoke. And it's sad that they pronounced Zangief like ignorant american pig dogs instead of the correct way of saying it. Hopefully they don't put Ryu in and call him Rai-oo.

Everything else about the movie seems amazing though. Can't wait to see it!

The tentacle monster has eyeballs at the end of its tentacles. That says Beholder to me. There've been D&D video games.
