Multi-player includes online games (so all you MMORPGS fans won't complain, but face it: Everquest is ruining your lives.)
I, for one, actually prefer single-player, but a good multi-player can get me pretty worked up (Smash Bros. Melee, Crystal Chronicles, and Mario Party being the biggest offenders.)

How 'bout you?

I love multi-player games with a passion. I could play Halo, Smash Bros., MvsC2, and Worms with my friends all day, everyday.

But still, I have to pick single-player. I'm just one of those people who would rather pick up Soul Reaver, Mario 64, or Super Metroid.

single player.

reason...?

because it is soooo much better to be playing by myself rather then have a moron sayign "haha, look at what gun i have now" or "FUCK YOU ASSHOLE! stop blowing me up ya little fuck!"

*sigh*

yes i hate playing multiplayer games with my brother sad

If the multiplayer is as good as Perfect Dark's multiplayer(which no games I know of has a better multiplayer) Or Red Faction II's multiplayer or what I hear of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow's, then yeah I would prefer the Multiplayer more. But otherwise, I just like good ole' single-player.

Too tough of a question, for me at least.

While the Zelda & Mario games will ALWAYS be my favorites, I gotta admit that I've had an awesome time playing Halo via a LAN with my buds since the game came out over 2 years ago (the campaign mode, while not incredible, is pretty good), and the experience has gotten better with XBConnect.

I dont like single player games much. I buy single player games that get great reviews and stuff like grand theft auto, max payne, splinter cell. I usually buy multi-player games. I always have people over at my house and when there anrent any friends here i have 2 other brothers and 2 sisters which like to join in and play some games too. A classic game that we still play is GOLDENEYE and also PERFECT DARK. I usually buy games like "conflict desert storm", "brute force", "halo", "mario party". I dont like playing alone.

Muti player games rock, I too get worked up while someone inexperienced like a younger cousin can just grab a controller and pummel me into the ground in mario kart... what you don't want to play super smash bros? THATS WHAT I THOUGHT!

HA! We're in the same boat. lol. Nah, I really cant decide. Multi player games are the shit. Having a bbunch of frnds beating the hell out of each other on the TV is awesome. But I guess I would have to chose Single Player, cause those are the games you can play any time. Don't need a buncha free loaders coming over and eatin all your food when you play single. Ummmm, I forgot my point. Anyway, I'll vote for single player games.

I think multi-player should be easily accessible. Which is why I loathe Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. It's a great game, loads of fun, high production values, dee gameplay, great graphics, music, etc.... but I don't have any friends with Gameboy advances (I don't, either), or friends who are willing to invest 14 hours with me on one game. And I hear single-player sucks. Bah! Fatality.

For all of my games like Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, or any in deep story game, I'd obviously take single player but I do prefer multi-player because I love playing games like Rainbow Six, America's Army, and Counter Strike with my buddies. I agree Perfect Dark had un-paralleled multiplayer. I hate games with deathmatch and shit like that 'cause some hacker fag always finds a way to ruin it for everyone, I only like multiplayer games where you cannot cheat or go co-op against the game itself!

Ditto.

I prefer multiplayer, though. Why? The thrill of playing against another opponent possibly similar or different to you. Even more so when there's a crowd watching. Good stuff. I can't explain the feeling, but there's something there that you feel when you've truly experienced the beauty of multiplaying, versus single-playing.

Also, with multiplayer, you could do insane shit like this: 1n§4n3 mU171p14y3r §h17

wink

Halo @ XBC has changed my life forever. Also the Rainbow Six series, Halo co-op, and Counter-Strike are the best. Most FPS multiplayer mode is better on multiplayer then the single player. Except for a game with a single player story like Halo wink
