Psi-Ops came out in 2004 and was one of my favorite games of the last gen era. It featured a man named Nick Scryer whose mind was erased to become a super soldier. His objective was to take down a terroristic operation of abnormal abilities. It had gunplay but the main mechanic was his psychic powers such as Telekenisis, Pyrokenisis, Mind Control, Mind Drain, Remote Viewing, and Aura View. I was greatly suprised at how the engine of this game worked. I think it ran Havok and the gameplay was spot on for it's time.

Long story short is that this game ended in a cliff hanger but they never came out with a sequel. And when I say they I mean Midway. Midway didn't think the game sold well enough for a follow up. But on the contrary Psi-Ops gained somewhat of a cult status among gamers. Seeing as how Midway was bought by WB do you think we will ever see a Psi-Ops 2? Do you think Netherrealm studios would like a shot at making this sequel?

I wish I had twitter so I could ask noobde what he thinks about it. I know he probably didn't have any involvement in the game but he ha to have played it and he was a staff member at Midway. Maybe he would like to try something different.

Didn't this game flopped in sales? That's enough to convince WB not to make a sequel unless they change their marketing strategy.

Nothing from Midway was selling well at this time. Psi-Ops was in the same situation. I don't remember the game being marketed very well but it was quite a while back. Psi-Ops had great gameplay and and awesome storyline though so if it was marketed well I'm sure WB could make profit. IMO this game needs a sequel.

Yeah Psi-Ops was actually pretty damn good. We'll never see another one though.
