BTW - the game is sweet. I've only gotten about 1/2 hour into, and then my comp crashed. So now I've got to play the first half-hour all over again. Bummer. :)

The Xbox version is coming in either October or early 2005 at latest.

I've acctually had a hacked version of DOOM III for about 4 months now... but it only brough 3 levels then it got to this one place where there was a door to imput a code and I could not go on... another thi, there was quake three weaponsother than the shotgun, standard machine gun and pistol, and the enemies kept respawning, and some of them didn't even interact untill you went a lil bit past into the level... but HL2 is working beautifully...

Those who are trying to ban games should be the ones being banned...

Thats because it's only the leaked executable, from E3 a few years ago. It's not the full game/ or even a demo for that matter. Which went gold no more than a month ago. Also every website that has posted on it has said the leak only contains 3 levels.

I tried it and it works. Be warned you won't be able to play online multiplayer.

Having said that, I've played the game for a total of 4 hours, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. The graphics are simply revolutionary, and I'm shocked that my CPU can handle them so smoothly.

The best part is the suspense; This is one of the scariest games I've ever played, and let me tell you I do not get scared easily (Resident Evil and Silent Hill did nothing for me). The gameplay is that of a standard First Person Shooter, and the cpu AL is pretty intelligent.

Overall I'm very impressed and I'm hooked on Doom 3. I played everything from Max Payne to Unreal Tournament 04, and let me tell you, none of those games can't even compare to this.

Why the hell doesn't the word e.v.a.l.u.a.t.e. type? When i try it types thisthingisdisabled instead!
