Work is a bit frustrating. A particular co-worker seems to be very hostile and cold towards me, and I think it has to do with my having some trouble understanding her. I'm basically a minority at work (it's a predominantly French environment, where I'm one of three people who speaks English and French well enough to be bilingual, and one of two who speaks English primarily outside work). I feel like all she does is get stressed around me when she has to tell me something more than once, since she speaks pretty fast and usually asks me to do tasks that I'm not familiar with when explained in French, and with items that I don't know the names of in French.
Considering I work with her 2/3 times/week, it's a bit annoying having to be around her when she's acting like a stressed-out wretch. Oh well, on the plus side, the rest of the workers like me, and the higher-ups like the work that I do, so the slight language barrier means shit-all anyway.
