In other movie news, there's a number of movies coming out this year that I had no idea about. Johnny Depp will play John Dillinager in Public Enemy, there's a movie coming out based on the tv show Land of the Lost, Where the Wild Things Are, Angels & Demons.
Also Johnny Depp's been cast as the Madd Hatter in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland , which is supposed to come out next year!
Also does anyone else think it's about time they make the sequel to Troy, the Odyssey with Sean Bean? Considering he was cast as Odysseus in Troy, I've been curious why they haven't moved forward with a sequel.

Are there serisously people that are so religious that they see Halloween as a terrible holiday?
idk why the thought popped into my head, but why would it be such a big deal?

It's on a Saturday this year, that's not fun at all. Though sadly, I'll be in college and I'm not sure if they dress up where I feel like going off too.
But um, with the religious people, I'm sorry, but for as how much of a Catholic I am, it's stupid when people are trying to to have Religious views of a fun holiday that kids get a real kick out of. Don't spoil it for the children, please.

Yeah those people make religion look bad. But they're not as bad as those nuts (no pun intended) who see sex as evil and something to be avoided. Something must not be wired right with those people.

Well this past October i was on a trip with a driver who was super religious. And we were at the mall cause we had some time to kill before we had to pick the kids up. We were walking about and they had a Spirit which is like a big Halloween store here in AZ. We walked past it and not knowing how ultra religious she is. I said, "Hey lets go check this place out" I always get a kick out of going to Halloween shops. She looked at me like I was the Devil. She just looked at me and said , "No you go ahead. I can't believe you believe in Halloween!" Needless to say I went in some of my friends were working so we hung out . When it was time for us to leave I stayed in the store. Forcing her to come in I swear she almost had a heart attack. I love Halloween its my favorite holiday. It's all in good fun running around getting candy and causing a little hell.

I just don't understand why people must always use religion to ge things taken away. I mean seriously, gay rights has religion coming after it, just because it says so in the book that love must only be between a man and a woman... come on.
Religion has to ruin Harry Potter, even though I'm not into the books, I find that stupid just because it has elements of wizary(?) and the black arts... I highly doubt that a kid would actually be a reincarnation of Satan himself, despite whatever the fuck went on with Damien in the Omen.
And for a holiday that's mostly for little kids. I swear, if I ever hear the words "Holloween Banned" anywhere, I'll go and dress up in a costume, trick or treat around a neighborhood for a while and show the damn goverment I just broke the law because they happened to banned Holloween just because a few religious folks said that it's a bad holiday.
I know I'm not the kind of person who will always spit down the throats of those who have a personal opinion about something such as Holloween, but unfortunately when there's something that could actually get things banned such as Holloween that millions of people enjoy, that;s where I draw the line and say, "No, you leave this alone, we don't need religious views because you're not satisfied with what the message is coming out from this holiday, please, with all do respect, we don't need a lecture on how Holloween is somewhat praising the Devil or whatever." It's not something to have religious facts being shoved in our faces and have it to where we can;t do it anymore.

I'm working on it........ You can always go to a college party and dress up like a hooker. That's the way college girls celebrate Halloween.

Word. As much as you are (or were, I don't know if your views have changed) against the drinking at the parties, dressing up and going to them can be really fun. Especially as a hooker. Girls who dress as hookers get a LOT more attention.
My friend Elza had a whip with her costume, and, somewhat to our surprise, got to use it that night!

I'm not sure how I'm going to graduate high school having to stay home a lot days... Baby's not feeling well. Doctor's office. :/
