MQS, as much as I absolutely love Lady Gaga, that comment about her being the only artist in history to have 6 consecutive #1 singles can't possibly be accurate. I know for a fact Carrie Underwood has had 12 #1 singles in a row, and that's just off the top of my head.

I'm sure he was referring to the Billboard Hot 100, not any other chart. From a bit of research, Carrie had 6 consecutive #1 hits, but they were just on the Country charts which don't really count as far as that record goes.

This is talking about radio hits by the way. Hot 100 is never reliable, I mean Poker Face being at number 1 for one week and Bad Romance locked at 2 for like ten weeks?

And I don't know about Carrie, but Mariah Carey is also tied for six. LG and MC have the record. Plus doesn't it include the fact that they're debut singles?

So I got my car looked at by a mechanic. He says my water pump is leaking. When he asked how long it's been making the noise it's been making, I said three days. He said you usually need to fix it in two days when it starts doing that. Funny, because I lied. It's been making that noise for about 4 months now. Nice try, Mr. Mechanic.
