Too many users these days want those flashy sigs with the characters and the animations in the back and such. Ever since the mods got them, they've been in high demand. I personally think they should be mod-exclusive because only mods deserve that type of thing. But if everyone starts getting them, their coolness will wear off and they'll be nothing special.

Yeah, I wanted one when me and m0s3pH (who actually has one) talked about getting some MKO Fight Klub sigs for me and J-spit, I was in talks with ThePred, but when I asked TheCypher, me and J-spit decided to make them similar but different from the mods.
The reasoning for that being:
They symbolize authourity on this site.
They look important, and since people like them, they usually look at them when scrolling through a page.
It's basically a hook to advertise for MKOFK.
I really like the lesser known Sub-Mod sigs thet Pred does.
Baraka and Vash have them.
