Over the past year, I have received as gifts a Batman gin-flask, a Batman coffee mug, and a Batman T-shirt. This past weekend I went a a friend's, and I introduced her to some of the best episodes of Batman: The Animated Series. I am the go-to person for Batman trivia among every single social circle of which I am a part. I wear a Bat-symbol belt buckle.

I was Joker this Halloween.

Several colleges at work call me Batman by nickname.

I fear that I allow my hobbies to define me.

Or my obsessions.

I wouldn't want to just erase high school from my memory. At the end of the day, all your life amounts to is the memories of what happened, and every time you forget something, it's like a part of your life didn't happen.

I use AVG for my virus protection. It's free and it's awesome.

I use Avast and haven't had a single problem with it so far.

My roommate's listening to the school radio station because he's like the head of it, and someone just started playing Crystal Castles, and I'm like wow this sounds like a bad quality version of the song, and he's like "no this is from the cd at the station! Maybe you have a bad quality version of the song!" Um, no I don't. You tool. This reminds me of the time that he had a scheduling conflict with DJ's, and I offered him a solution and he kept trying to negate it, but I kept giving him reasons why it would work, his final argument was "I know more than you."

Radio generally sounds like shit.

Going out tomorrow afternoon for a hike in a forest with the cute gal I've been corresponding with... Should be fun. I think we're easing more and more into having something together... Just what, I don't know.
Also, I think something's brewing between me and one of my work supervisors. Last night, I mentioned the whole office should go out for drinks to celebrate the BC Lions winning the Grey Cup, and she said it should be only her and I, since we'd be the only employees staying until 11 PM. Then when it came closer to the end of our shift, she backed out because she had an early shift today, but said we should go out for drinks on a Friday or Saturday.
Can it be that I have my game back? That my slow-and-steady pursuits are paying off now in double dividends? I guess it helps that life's smiling on me with two jobs, regular pay cheques, my own place, a car, I'm somewhat older than the gals, and the fact that I'm an actor in the occasional short film. I sound like a pompous asshole, but I'm gaining back my balls and spine after a rough year, so let's look at this as me finally feeling comfortable in my skin again.

You listen to the wrong radio channel. The only radio channel that I listen to is Radio Rock - I'd recommend that. Does it matter if they speak in Finnish though? Give it a shot... that is if you desire for good music!

I'm trying. I just have no inspiration. I feel like all of this school work is so useless in the grand scheme of things. In fact I feel like being alive is useless in the grand scheme of things. I have made progress though. I opened Microsoft Word. And wrote my name at the top. I am getting to the date now.

I have a very, very nasty and spiteful sister who takes pleasure in demoralising and attacking me and my mam. Remind you of someone?



Honestly, it's like as if she's only happy if she's being acerbic, vicious or manipulative towards me and my mam. She resents me because im the youngest of the family, "the mama's boy", and in her opinion she's always been neglected and forgotten about. No matter what I do with my life she finds reason to critique and demean it, she finds anything to attack whether it's my friends, my relationships, sexual orientation, college course, appearance, proffession...you name it. She does all of this in front of my niece (a 5 year old), gets the child upset then storms out of the house slamming doors. Bear in mind, she's 28 and at the moment she's pregnant, but even without a bun in the oven she's always been this way, ever since I can remember she's physically assaulted me or publically embarassed me for her own satisfaction. She despises me with a passion and tonight I figured enough is enough.

It might sound bitter but I didn't hold back with my own opinions of her. I layed into her about her own life and decisions and for every cutting, sour remark she's made to me that I've held my tongue about, I gave her as good as I got. As odd as it sounds, she doesn't even feel like family, to me she never has. That's probably WTMI but fuck it, this is a place to vent. I don't feel bad for saying what I said in retaliation, if she's brave enough to throw an insult in front of an audience she's brave enough to recieve one as far as I'm concerned. It just bothers me ever so slightly that this is family. I've enemies who are twice as courteous.

the harder you work the more enjoyment you'll get out of life later, so live and enjoy. when you die you wont even be conscious anyway so its not as bad as you think.

Finished my cinema project! So glad that's over with. Feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. All I've got to do now to keep my scholarship is to show up to class =)

Nah, I didn't even need help. I had the solutions. Because we have the solutions to every assignment and every exam in this piece of shit business school. But today we took an exam that tested us on what we know out of the standard curriculum of the nation, and I got an 89.5%. That surprised me. Here I thought I was a failure. Turns out I'm on par with everyone.



You really think that these aren't the best years of my life? Being twenty-something. I'm pretty sure it all goes downhill from here. After you have your kids and your body starts to deteriorate. And yeah, when you die it won't even matter because you'll be dead. So. Being alive the entire time leading up to your death was a waste of time.
