I'm feeling like today is a going to be a good day.

After my play through of the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, I've moved onto DK64. I'd forgotten how fun it is. I'm missing one of the cables for my N64 so I'm using an emulator - it runs surprisingly well, apart from some graphical errors (Models stretching out and such). It looks way better than the console would, with high res and anti-aliasing options.

It's going to take a pretty long time to 101% this one though. Doesn't it still hold the record for most collectibles in a game?

It's such a shame that Rare is with Microsoft now. It's as if Nintendo doesn't know how good of a franchise Donkey Kong could be. DKC Returns is pretty much the first proper DK game since 1999. It's supposed to be good, but it doesn't look at all like a DKC game to me. Similar, but it cuts out so much of what made DKC awesome. Plus the fact that they replaced Kremlings with the "Tiki Tak Tribe". Fuck that.

I'd be sold on Wii U if Rare made a DK game.

I'm kinda pissed off that Ashelotte isn't in Soul Calibur V.

I know she wasn't an official character, but they could've made her one, like they did Amy. Ashelotte actually had a decent story, unlike most bonus charatcers, and despite having Astaroth's complete move set, she was still fun to play with.

Man, I wish she was in the game.

I liked Shura quite a bit. Kamikirimusi was kind of annoying, though. Angol Fear was alright.

The only character I'm waiting for is Setsuka, but word is she's completely gone now.

Namco doesn't own Ashlotte, so that automatically eliminates her.

Gindhouse really showed me that I had to make them look like they were SUPPOSED to be cheap. If you make a fake trailer and try to make it realistic and cool, it sucks 80% of the time.

My dream last night was pretty surprising.

Not only was someone speaking to me in Spanish (which I understood), I realized I responded to her incorrectly, by using Russian, and corrected myself (by speaking Spanish) in the dream.

Three different languages in a dream. Strangely, I swear I've had this same dream before.

Strange dreams? I once dreamed about being in a zombie apocalypse, driving a black truck in the neighborhood. I stopped occasionally to pick up things from the street or sidewalk that might come in handy. One of these items was Kung Lao's hat. O.o

A zombie latched onto my truck while I was driving, and I used KL's hat on it and I accidently dropped the razor hat out the window as the zombie was killed. Now I hate playing against KL in MK9, but his hat saved my face from getting turned into a delicious meal for the undead!

That is pretty weird.

I once dreamed I was in some huge hotel, looking for some bad guy who had switched places with his twin brother (who was about to be executed.) There was another woman, and some kid with me, and we were frantically running around the hallways, trying to find him before they killed his brother instead.

Then, I was suddenly outside in a large garden-y area, with buildings that reminded me of Washington D.C. For some reason, I was nonchalantly walking through the area, packed with statues and I was eating a stick of butter(!)
