Yeah, but I mean you're not supposed to be eating fast food either, but you haven't seen it affect you to a point where it's harming your body. You're supposed to exercise every day for thirty minutes, but there's plenty of people who don't do so where they don't see signs of it harming their body. I'm just saying you're not supposed to drink milk past infancy, but yeah plenty of people do it. You're not supposed to drink milk with anything else either. it's meant to be digested on its own.

I get that, I really do. It's just the way this guy puts it, it's either his way or it's the high way.

But i shouldn't really be getting scared of eating something that I might regret because I heard it's not good for you, that I'm not really supposed to be drinking this becuase it could do damage to me later. What we do with ourselves is what we do, I don't personally hold a grudge against anyone who decides they want to smoke weed, that's their choice. Sure, it's bad for you, and I'm not going to be the one that sits here and go through every bad affect it does to the human body, but I don't want to also scare someone out of doing something that is their choice.

Just like how I don't want to be scared of drinking milk suddenly because I'm being told that it's unhealthy for me. I do a fair amount of exercise, ran in the city for thirty minutes today and I feel great and about to take my second shower of the day. I'm in perfect condition, so of course it's not going to bother me, which is your point that you made. I just don't feel that it's right to be scared of something suddenly because some organic nut is telling me so.

I've been one-sided today since I had a position paper to redo and I'm still kinda antsy from that, so pardon me if I seem a bit harsh with what I wrote.

I wouldn't want you to live a life full of fear because of milk. I mean, scientific studies come out every day that contradict the information we thought we knew yesterday, so I understand not doing a 180 in your lifestyle just because of the newest thing that people are saying. But, I just think it's nice to collect information about living a healthier lifestyle, and apply them when you can.

In other news, it rubs me the wrong way when people are proud about the fact that they have racial preferences in the people that they date.

I was on the losing end of a Words With Friends game which would have been my first loss ever in the game, but I just took back the lead by a good 90 points.

Even though MKO activity is slow at times, I still find myself coming back here every day. Sometimes I don't sign in though, because I often stay here longer than I realize when I'm signed in, and that means less time to do other stuff. I still like MKO even in its periods of slow activity. This is the first Mortal Kombat forum I've joined, and I'm sticking with it even in its slow days.

After talking shit about Murcielago losing team members in Mass Effect 2, guess what the fuck happened. I'm pissed! I've never lost a team member.

LONG POST AHEAD

I'm wondering with the amount of people that I'm seeing getting engaged knows that they're kinda in a horribly situation if they think that they can be engaged and move in together without knowing the real world.

I know that a lot of people I grew up with thinks that life is handed to them just like that. Some say that they'll get a house as soon as they get married. I hope they realize that weddings cost a heck of a lot of money. My brother is getting married within two months and they JUST got their condo and moved in back in February. It took them a long time to just get a condo in the first place because many people want money and THEIR price for it... And heh, if someone pays cash right there and then, forgot your little saved spot in line for getting that place.

My boyfriend and I currently talked about our situation about moving in together since he'll be graduating within a month. We're holding off right now so that we can save money together so that we can chip in together rather than spending out parents' money for it. Also, taking into consideration of my life at the moment. I'm still stuck in college, I have literally three semesters left and I'm living in the city with no car, no money of my own and trying to find a job for my major. It would be kind of hard to travel back and forth via train every day during certain times due to classes. I know people who commute through trains and most of the time they get late to class because their train was late or they missed it. I don't want to be that student who's grade gets affected because of some measly little train. I don't also want my boyfriend to pick me up and drop me off at the train either if I have no car of my own.

Right now, I need a summer job that will put money in my savings account so I can use that later to get my Volkswagen. Say what you want, I think they're safe cars.

It just perplexes me though on how many times I read in the newsfeed that these people who I am friends with thinks it's like la-la land with their lives. Someone is on the other side of the world right now fighting for our country, thinking that as soon as they get back, they're going to move in together just like that! But... do you have a job when you return? Is your fiance working right now? Others think that the job they have, which hardly pays them good money, probably get $20,000 per year, is going to cover their expenses, mortgages and taxes. Uh-ah, no, that's not a good amount of money to hold you and your significant other together, even if it is in some cheap condo.

I'm not saying that my boyfriend and I are experts at knowing how to live together, but just talking about it between the two of us and our parents as well, we've came to understand what's easy and what's hard. Right now, we're in a hard situation becuase of me being in school, that's mainly the issue. So I have to live in an apartment on my own for another year. At least it's not preventing my boyfriend and I to spend the weekends together... but that's our bigger issue, we can now only see each other on the weekends and if he lands his job, I have to wait until he's done teaching to see him on Friday's, or when his school is on a break or something. That's a wall I don't want to crash into. Although right now we're doing this, seeing each other on the weekends. It's fine, we enjoy and value our time together when we do see each other, and that's what makes our relationship strong. It's not like he's going to another state and teach while I'm in the city, sure, it'll be a 45 minute drive back and forth, but, if he's willing to commit to that, which he agreed to and is sticking by that, then by next summer, not this summer, we'll be able to live together.

Because if I play my cards right, the Fall/Winter semester of 2013 would be my last semester of college for good due to credit transfer issues that prevented me to be where I'm supposed to be at.

And right now, I should have been studying for my anthropology test, unfortunately my mind is going haywire thanks to my paper I had to redo, and I'm in a fucking mood... Women.

Everyone's gonna have different interests, but we've got small stuff like weekly KFL, we're churning up the tournament and strats, there's a Syco Q&A and movie speculation, we've always got some great fan art and fiction cooking, there's some cool speculation and chat still simmering in the kontemporary forum, we're calling for nostalgia in the year of the dragon anniversary thread, we've had some cool giveaways the last couple of months on the forums, KFL and twitter.

You don't have to be on Twitter, but the feed at the top left is always cycling through new stuff on the site, and new info! Don't forget the rest of the site and the MK stuff that's going on!
