It's weird though, in the book these kids are like 6 to 12.

Most of the other actors were 14 to 17.

Oldest one was 19.

Youngest one was... Well 13, I think.

I am a bit startled that an old friend of mine, same age as me, just became a father.

I'm not understanding the recent outburst of pregnancies and engagements that's been occurring around the people I've grown up with. I feel that, I'm the only person that has talked things through with the boy about our future and literally is planning it one day at a time. Whilst all these other people that I know are just popping out kids, getting engaged while still being in college, working at a job that doesn't pay enough to actually live on.

I am not saying that the way my life is like is the right life to live. But I feel that I am the only one who's actually planning, not executing. I mean, if I were to have a kid right now, what am I supposed to do? What is my boyfriend supposed to do? I still have at least a year and a half of college left, he's going to be job searching throughout summer. My parents and his parents work a long shifting day, and I refuse to have a sitter to look after my child. With no money of my own to help support the child, my boyfriend, and myself, what am I supposed to do? It's the same thing in his position as well. He doesn't have money right now to support a family.

I certainly doubt all of these people who have had one of these events happen has planned this out carefully and understand that it's not an easy task. Yeah that gets thrown around by so many people who doesn't have a kid on their shoulders, but I'm not an idiot to know that having a child means more responsible acts are made upon while understanding that your life is revolving more around that kid's life than your personal needs of partying and hangout sessions with your buddies. Despite that Teen Mom is a stupid show, it at least shows the struggle with how they can't do whatever they please to do. That kid needs their full attention. You just can't have your parents do everything.

I'm young, adventurous, I want to maybe when I get enough money as well as my boyfriend, to travel around the world as much as I can before we settle finally and create life. I want to wait until I'm fully prepared to take on motherhood to actually become a mother. Why suddenly end that fun right now by making a mistake in fucking a girl without protection?

The engaging issue is more on the side of, "do you have enough money to actually get a wedding planned?" People can be engaged for how long they want to be, I certainly don't have a problem with that. But the people that got engaged that I know... It'll be more than at least five years before they can walk down the aisle. Because this is where the money issue is taking place. They're the ones who are working at a job that wouldn't be able to support anything pricey. They're working at a place with very low income because that's the only job that they can get, why? They skipped out on college. And in this day in age, a college degree is pretty much a crucial thing to have. Those who don't have one, chances of getting a job is less likely to occur.

Seriously. We're all twenty-twenty-one years old, we don't need to rush at taking a further step closer to a life that pretty much has you bound to those who are apart of your family. Go out and have fun at a bar, swing at a park, or just dancing your heart away at a concert. You don't need to be bound at this age right now.


Of course, opinionated Icebaby is opinionated and is tired but cannot go to sleep. When this happens, something that is on her mind will eventually be written out as a rant that will most likely get ignored or get commented by one user who's got a different stance on the issue.

I'm going to try to go back to sleep. But I strongly doubt I will have enough sleep.

got me a gamecube controller today. it's black. now all i need is one more controller and a few multiplayer games.

been listening to cradle of filth lately. i only recently noticed that doug bradley that plays pin head in the hellraiser films does some voicework for the band. now i understand why my friend from my old highschool liked them.

i wish i could go to the mayham festival this year but since i can't get a ride there and i don't drive i can't go.sad they are having slipknot and a few other bands play at the comcast theater in hartford as there last show on the mayham tour.

when i get my liscense i'm most def going to some kick ass shows and great trips.

So Bethesda has trademarked the Fus Ro Dah line just to let their lawyers sue the shit out of people for using it...

It's just pathetic when some company goes as far as trying to "protect" random lines of gibberish.

I'm not liking that I read an article about Angelina Jolie being Malificent in 2014 in a movie that shows her side of the story and how she became to be. And it's a Disney movie... life-action too.

I think I'd be more excited about it, since she's one of my favorite villains of all-time if it WASN'T Angelina. I just never liked anything that she starred in.
I’m so behind on games. But I really want to play Batman Arkham Asylum and City. I’m just so pumped for The Dark Knight Rises. I wish there was a new trailer or something. But I suspect we’ll see one soon since it comes out in a few months.

My philosophy professor and the book he uses to teach are completely biased. The author of the textbook is a Christian apologetic who has his own church. Its all hot garbage and I'm not going to take the shit my professor says seriously anymore. I'm going to study the material, pass the class and get the hell out of there

I really, really like the BGM (called Tekstep) for the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 stage Fontana di Trevi. Honestly, I don't care for dubstep, but I like the violins that kick in a little later.

The song sounds pretty cool during a fight.

According to Wikipedia and Tekken Wiki (both iffy sources), the release date for consoles in North America is September 2012.
