When I was 14/15/16 my friends stopped drinking liquor and started smoking pot because it was so much easier to get than alcohol. I smoked with them and tried to get into it, but I never enjoyed it.

Smoking pot is mostly a bad decision unless you live in the Netherrealm the Netherlands. It's bad for your reputation, especially the career, unlike drinking beer that can actually be healthy for your career (in moderation).

The date my pal set me up with was bad. I don't think we had anything in common (I don't know because she didn't speak much) and wasn't attracted to her either (she wasn't ugly and wasn't nice looking). I don't mind people introduction someone to me on night out because they think we might hit it off, most of time it still doesn't work (my pals are too drunk and set you up with any girl, single or not) but your not stuck with them like blind date.

Funny how my pals say I'm lonely and need a girlfriend when they been shit wingmen to me. For example, at night out me and my pal went to bar see open mic. my pal went on stage play couple of songs. Was funny because he was drunk and nearly fell over the drums. Anyway, he started talking to this girl (call her girl A) and got asked to join. So I talked to this girl's friend (call he girl B). We were getting on well. We had things in common and was really nice looking. My pal on other hand wasn't going on well for him, girl A, who he was talking to was nice but he was being a dick. He thought she was a bitch and wouldn't talk to her (She wasn't). The two girls were happy with my company but not my pal. Girl A ened up telling my pal to move and this is where my pal screwed up my chance with girl B. Most guys would either sit in corner but not my pal. He sat right in middle between me and girl B. I tryed talking to her but my pal would but in. I did everything to get rid of him or atlease get him sit in corner. We ened up leaving because I was getting angry and was close to hitting him. Before we got in taxi, I started shouting at him because he was acting like everything was ok and was annoyed he did that to me because he was one that telling me, we need meet girls. Only reason he came up with why he didn't like girl A was because he had a FEELING she was bitch. I wouldn't been angry if he said that they didn't have anything in common or attracted to her. So I don't hang about with him much now and if we do then bring it up when he say "that girl would get shagged".

Oh well, I enjoy it so I do it. It honestly helps me..

I have severe anxiety issues so I tend to stay inside most of the time. I have trouble talking to people and finding the right words to say. I usually am really quiet but I do take medicine for this.

When I smoke, it seems like I just don't care anymore. I never feel worried about anything, I can talk to people, I feel like they can understand me better. I don't have this constant worry about everything. I just overall have a great time.

I am not anti-pot. I just don't smoke it.

@redman I know what you mean. Beyond that, pot isn't a major component to my life. It's kinda like video games: I do it when I can afford it and because it's a great feeling (like gathering a ton of gang members and their vehicles to toss a grenade and end their shit in Saints Row The Third).

I'm not sure I would stop smoking pot if my mother disapproved, but it's kind of moot seeing as she does it herself. Not only that, but I don't live with her. How would she know?

Well, when you've encountered nothing but rudeness when you ask politely if they could smoke somewhere else, what are you supposed to do? I've gotten burnt by a cigarette by the guy just asking him to put it out in a place he's not even supposed to have it...

I'm with whopper, I detest people who smoke too... That and I'm highly allergic to some of the stuff they put in there anyways.

I just don't see why people knowingly indulge in self-destructive behavior. Drinking and smoking will never be a part of my life. Not only because I find it pointless, but because drinking and drugs have destroyed my family.

I don't even take prescription pills. I let whatever pain I have go away on it's own. No point in risking becoming addicted to pills.

Life is a self destructive concept. In the end you die. And what.

Everything in moderation. You only live once. Do you. Why walk around shaming other people for their lifestyles if it isn't affecting you.

I don't care if people smoke on their own time, but if I am behind them and breathing in their toxic fumes, or if I'm IceBaby and getting burned by cigarettes, then it matters. If that isn't happening, then it doesn't.
