The best part about working Friday night/Saturday morning is that it's so relaxing...

It's all done manually; we actually check the sig and/or avatar of a user, place the ban if necessary, and send out a personal message to the person we just shadowed.
When they tell us they've changed it, we can't see shadowed user images, so first we lift the shadow, check to make sure the new sig+avy combo is below the limit (that's right, even ), and if it is, we send a message saying it's all good.
It's a long and tedious process, and it's something we're hoping to fix with V8.
