Work sucked and I couldn't make it to the MK tournament.

So, yesterday......or today in the earliest hours of the day, I played Mortal Kombat. A good session was experienced.

First match was not a good start, it was my turn in KoTH and it was a damn Sub-Zero vs. Shang Tsung match. I don't like fighting Subby as Shang. I lost. Waited till the dawn of a new age for my next turn, and the King was the Subby player I fought. He was on a roll. As expected, he picked Sub-Zero with a hidden cursor, I hid my cursor and picked Liu Kang! My answer for any matchup! Fought the Sub-Zero player with patient Fireball zoning against his Ice Clone-protection-with-Ice Ball barrage. High Fireballs after every blocked Ice Ball were successful (I used to think HFB was useless outside of mixing up your zoning, until I learned it has better recovery than the Low Fireball), forcing my opponent to come to me, where it is more dangerous.

Now, Liu Kang is one of my favorite fighters due to him being able to play two completely different playstyles: Zoning, and up-close pressure. So after the Sub-Zero player attempted to fight me up-close, I was able to employ pressure tactics upon him. Ice Clone baiting was met with High Fireballs, though there were a few times where I was baited into jumping on the Clones. I won in the end. Oh my God, those Sub-Zero mirror matches I observed while I was waiting for my turn were depressing.

There were many more matches, but I'm forgetting now. Oh, I do remember there were matches where I selected Freddy Krueger, Noob Saibot, Kratos (Need much more practice with him) and other alternates.

I'd watch the movie just for that. And Jerrod, that is a pretty slick plan.
