I deleted my facebook for 2 reasons:

1. Way too many people complaining about their lives. "I'm sad about something, I think I'll post about it."

2. Way too many people bragging about their lives. "I got new shoes, I better take pictures of them and post them."

Not too mention that poking shit. One of the most pointless things of all time.

So I made these guys since 3pm today... I'm kind of impressed.

Facebook is a way to keep in contact with those whom you cant get in contact with through any other means.

Facebook causes me zero drama because I am not an irrational idiot.

So I picked up Mega Man Maverick Hunter X for the PSP, and found out that it would've gotten a sequel if it sold better when it came out... too bad

I used to like Terminator II more than Terminator I, but it's been a long time since I saw the movies.

I finally re-watched them the other day and now: Terminator I > Terminator II (and it's not even close).

Yeah for me it's definitely not a drama issue. It's more of just a "I have all of these people that I'm 'friends' with and I honestly talk to about 30% of them on a semi-regular basis."

So if I don't care enough to talk to them and they don't care enough to talk to me, for months or even years, then why do I even want their status updates filling up my wall?

I just didn't know if there was some sort of protocol where it's best to let people know. I posted a comment saying that it was nothing personal and refriend me if you want and I'll gladly accept or whatever, and several people liked my status update.

What does that even mean? Is that their way of saying "it's cool, get rid of me" or "don't unfriend me." I have no idea. Oh well.

Sorry you've had drama with FB though. I was kinda worried that people would get offended, that's why I figured I'd as. I personally don't care when people unfriend me, as it's not a big part of my life AT ALL, but still.

Anyways, If it makes you feel better, my freshman year of college, I had four roomates. One of them chewed tobacco and left his spit cups everywhere. He also put out milk cartons as a coffee table in our main room and put his (blatantly used) nudey magazines on them. He and I were in the small room and we each had our own loft. There's nothing like trying to sleep while someone is trying to get sex from a chick approximately 3 feet away from you.

In short, the guy was a scum bag. We kicked him out after two months. Luckily the other three guys were cool, at least!

This is just me, but I found not telling anyone I was deleting anyone a better option than just telling them the reasons why. I told a few people once, they didn't like it... That's where the last dramatic paragraph in my previous post comes to play.



Still to this day, I have yet to understand the main purpose of the "Like" button. There are some people that take that to a serious extent. I got yelled at by an old friend that I "liked" my own status... Um... why should that bother anyone?



If people get offended for being deleted because, of your reason, that you haven't talked to each other in months or years, that's unfortunate. Your reason to delete people is because you hardly talk to a handful of them, they haven't been in your life for a while. Why continue feeding them statuses about yourself when they haven't been in your life for a long time?



That sounds exactly like my old roommate. Except with the tobacco cups, she left ashes of her cigarettes in the bathroom. I am surprised she managed to smoke a few times in there without anyone noticing. I caught her once and she stopped.

Wow... She couldn't just go outside and smoke? She had to use your bathroom? I smoked for a while, and it honestly never dawned on me to smoke inside. Maybe I didn't want to set off a smoke alarm, or maybe I'm just not a compete A-hole? Either way, my condolences on the roomate. I get where you're coming from, for sure.
Anyways, thanks a lot for the advice! It's much appreciated. That whole "someone getting mad at you liking your own status" thing you were talking about? That's the exact reason why I asked. I swear, you never know what's going to make people crap themselves on that site!!

I didn't mean to say "there's plenty of other fish in the sea." People hate hearing that, especially when they're focused on one fish in particular.
I just meant that it can be easy to get stuck in an individual moment in time and that makes your focus get kinda narrow. There could be a lot of other possibilities out there that you're not seeing because you're only focused on this one girl that you kinda think might not like you.
In this instance, as I said before, I'd just rip the bandaid off. You've already said something before, so she's aware of it. Saying it again isn't going to surprise her. Just say "look, I've had a thing for you for a while and if you're not in to me like that, it's fine, we're friends and all that, but I still wanted to ask and see if you wanted to go out some time."
If she says that she's sorry, but she only thinks of you as a friend, then you have your answer, and you'll be amazed at how much less attractive she becomes almost instantly.
If she says that would be okay, then tell her you'll call her, get her number if you don't have it already, and see if she wants to go see a movie or something. That way, you don't have to do a ton of talking and you'll have something to to talk about after the movie's over.
Sound good? Okay, advice over, but I'll say one last thing: This type of stuff is awkward for EVERYONE and it only gets less awkward with repetition. It's like eating extremely spicy food. The first bite makes you feel like your face is on fire, but each bite is more tolerable than the last. Trust me, you'll be fine, and you'll probably be more glad than anything else when it's over, regardless of how she responds.

I finally beat God of War 3 on Chaos Mode. I feel like I just conquered the world. Even though it's just a game, that was extremely hard.

I'm surprised I have any hair left on my head after all the hairpulling moments this game caused...

Actually, a few years ago in October, a dead body was found in my town's lake. And guess what? It's name is "Crystal Lake".One year when I was in Middle School, October had a Friday the 13, and I dressed up as Jason and actually scared the living shit out of 12 people. Thank god nobody called the cops, because to this day nobody knows it was me, and they think Jason really exists. I had a real machete during my sword training back then, and I chopped it into a tree and stuck it to make sure nobody thought it was fake.

In other news, I just bought Mortal Kombat Unchained. Does it have Konquest mode? I can't play it until tomorrow when I go to my Dad's and get my PSP, so I'm trying to find everything on it.
