I know odds are I won't meet the requirements, considering I've never went to school for music composition. Still, I look for it anyway for hope, and the chance that they might be willing to give me one.

Just had another fight about religion. It went something like this.

Me: Don't you think it's unfair to be cast into Hell simply for NOT believing a certain way? Even if you did nothing wrong?

Mom: Jesus died for your sins!

Me: I never asked him to...

*Shocked silence*

I left out a part that disturbed me the most. She said it was her fault that I didn't believe. That she didn't do enough to make me believe.

Right then, I was stunned at how stupid religion was.

I think that you have to be hardwired for certain things at a very young age. For me, my folks told me at a young age to seek out what I believe for myself, and that it would be a life long journey that I would seek out when and where I wanted to, on my own terms, not theirs or anyones elses.

I'm not saying that they did right by me or not. Some would say that they were very open minded and some would say that they should've tought me more/better. Who knows. I just think that when it comes to whatever happens after we die, that there's no way to know with 100% certainty until we're dead. Anything we want to think we know or anything we want to believe is a leap of faith and not everyone leaps in the same direction. Some don't leap at all or even see a reason to.

I say, do what makes you feel good. If you like what Christianity teaches, and it creates a comfortable community around you, and it makes you feel good and like the end results or whatever the case is, then great. Be a Christian. If the same thing happens for you when it comes to Hinduism or Islam or anything else? I say go for it and be the Hindu or Muslim that you want to be.

Okay random question... I've been trying to remember this comedy flash animation series from a long time ago, all i can say is that the Gladiator theme song "Now we are free" plays at the beginning of the first episode, and that the title character (i think) always eats these butter biscuits, that's all i can remember. If anyone knows the name of it, can you post it. Much appreciated.

The memories are the past, they will never be experienced again. Nostalgia sometimes makes rewatching a little better than the first time, though.
