It could've been a lot worse. We were on the highway and it was a traffic jam. I came to a stop and the guy behind me didn't see that we had stopped and he slammed into my rear bumper at 40-50mph. I saw him coming and I put my foot down on my brake as hard as I could so I didn't hit the car in front of me. When he hit me my ankle broke because of the impact and I was putting so much pressure on it, and I released the brake and ended up hitting the mini-van in front of me. I came out of it the worst actually. The guy behind me had a few bruises and the woman in the mini van just has some whip lash. Her airbag didn't even go off. My Jeep has a lot of damage to it though.

Sorry to hear that but glad nothing more serious happens. It goes to show how sucky life is. The one doing the right thing comes out the worst.
