Libra, I am sorry to hear that... Give it time bro... Hold judgment and ask others to do so as well. (hard to ask others I know.) He has a right to plead his case. Perhaps its a big misunderstanding or something, or a big lie.... I hope that the accusations are false... No one wants to hear about teachers doing such things....

Thanks. He was on the news too and they were talking about him. The whole story behind it was Mr. Newlun met up a kid in the middle of the hallway and "supposedly" give the kid marijawana (whatever the f*ck that is spelled) and the kid went straight to the security and showed it to them. They arrested Mr. Newlun the next morning and hes not allow to come near the school until further notice.
They interviewed two people. One is a student who has the same feeling as i am. We both have the same agreement that he would never do such a thing. And the other person is a parent who "thinks" he actually did it. Who the f*ck is she? I honestly think she doesnt know who the hell is he.
All i can say is, he cant possibily do such a thing. I known him for 3 years and i know he didnt do it.... anyway, im still upset with the whole issue.

I can't believe I deliberately made a spam thread with the sole intention of spamming and having my thread closed, and it turned out to last days on end, get thirty on topic replies (several from moderators), zero off topic replies, and didn't wind up getting closed. Absolutely marvelous. I think that's my favourite thread ever.

I was actually going to close it when you first made it, but when I saw the first couple of responses, I figured "why not". Surprisingly, it went well.

I start work in one and a half hours... 
It's either going to be a long five-hour shift, a short five-hour shift (the difference is that I'll either be bored for the time or I won't), or I'll be cut three and a half hours into it. It's like a lottery whenever I go in for work. Next week, no Saturday shift (those are just seven hours of torture)!

I did a little bit of telemarketing when I was putting myself through school. (That's the job you're talking about, right?) I wanted to shoot myself when it was all over. But it made me sympathize a little more with the people on the other end when I got TM calls at home. They're people too, just trying to pay the bills, and I do my best to treat them as best I can when they call. Nevertheless, thank God for the "do not call" list

Actually, I do only telephone surveys, so I never sell anything, only ask people random questions about their banks, cigarettes, pharmaceuticals, etc. Either way, very few people ever want to do the surveys because they're afraid that they'll take forever to do; more often than not, however, they're barely ten minutes long, and people still refuse upon hearing that.
Just to remind everyone in the states that the "Do Not Call" list applies only to telemarketors, not telephone surveys.
