Lightning is not in Versus XIII. That trailer is for a direct sequel and brand new game, XIII-2, just like how X-2 was a direct sequel to FFX. Lightning won't just appear in that game; she's the main character in it. There's been no signs of anyone from XIII in Versus XIII yet.

naw versus is far from release compared to 13-2 so you probly would have found out sooner or later. i am as well looking foward to both games

^^ Im just looking forward to XIII-2 because Lightning, Hope, Snow and Sahz (aswell as some new characters :l - Vanille and Fang are still holding up Cocoon right?) are in the game! :D!! Motomu Toriyama is really awesome! Have you seen the Graphics compared to MK? O_O, They have only been working on the game for like 1 month or something, and can actually release it like 7 months after. That is just epic! And they are also working on so many other games at the same time ^^! Love you Square-Enix!

I understand that you are a fan of 13 and are only looking foward to 13-2 due to story obviously. I myself havent played 13 but i am willing to try out 13-2. Ive Been also thinking of picking up 13 but who knows

You should play it, it's really awesome! I have 100% trophies on it before my PS3 broke ^^. However, some missions are REALLY hard.. :(

I never did all the missions because my brother sold the copy we had. It was, after all, his, but I wish he'd have let me keep it a while longer.

I enjoyed FFXIII, but it was very, very linear. I didn't really "enjoy" the game until after the credits rolled and I went back to Gran Pulse. All I have left are a few mission fights and fully upgrading all my weapons (I HATE that process). So, yay, I get to fight more giant turtles.

13 was great. very very long! I have yet to finish it though. although...my fave Final Fantasy is FF8. the whole idea of Ultimecia and her castle location was just brilliant. It was such a surprise for me finding out you had to travel to the future and to find out where her castle was. and it was just I dunno...such a brilliant concept. some of the translation to english though I think seemed a tad confusing. If you've played the game you will probably know what I mean. all I know is remakes of FF7 and FF8 would be perfection!

You know when you complete Cie'th mission 51 (attackus or something), the turtles change from Adamantoises, Andamantortoises and Adamanchelids, to Shao Long Guis and Long Guis. Shao Long Guis, have a very high rate of dropping a Trapezohedron that is worth 20000g (or something)

Steps for killing those:

1- Party leader = Vanille.
2- Cast Death.
3- Pray.

It should hopefull die before it gets up XD
