Their staff corrects any inaccuracies. Most of the info you see on Wiki is true, so it's not like you have to shy away from it.
That being said, check other sources before assuming something as 100% true.

Go to the library... look at the encyclopedia... they have plenty info on greek mythology
You have a hard time writing an essay about Greek Gods?
Greek Mythologies are awesome mythological creatures to discuss. But, I must agree with the first person who replied to you.
Of all the sites to go on to in order to help you out in this situation and having limited internet access, you would rather post your question here, with majority of the users giving you little to no advice whatsoever rather than to Google or anything that actually can help you with this sort of issue?
I honestly will tell you, most of the time, asking for help on this site gets you nowhere unless the subject is something about a video game, girl issue, or something that really, really sticks out.

Hints: try to write something about the depiction of Greek gods in modern culture and how watered down they are usually portrayed. Or in the case of Hades, demonized.
Zeus: god of lightning, rulers, hospitality, all around rat-bastard cheating on his wife, who sired basically every second or third demigod. Zeus is NOT a benevolent deity, he is just as selfish as any other.
Hera: not the beloved mother of "Hercules" Disney, she is vengeful and sent Heracles into a frenzy in which he killed his first wife Megara and their children. By pyre. Then Heracles had to atone with his tasks.
Hades: not an evil sadomasochistic god of Hell GOW, he is the god of afterlife (both rewarding and punishing) and earthly riches (think Pluton, originally Hades was lord of the minerals and valuable ores). Kinda nice guy, the NICEST of the male main gods.
Poseidon: also womanizer and sadistic earthquaker. Poseidon is basically a guy with a temper. Oh and Athene is Pallas Athene.
Allways forgotten is Hestia, one of the Olympians. The goddess of home and the family fire. The only god not responsible for one death or another (yes, even Pallas Athene killed: she was jealous when Arachne challenged her to a weaving competition and won. She destroyed her creation in her anger. Arachne then promtly hung herself in grief... then Pallas Athene changed her into the spider...hence arachninds.).

I'm currently taking a Greek Mythology course and could probably answer whatever questions you have. Or you could look it up at the library. The myths are pretty interesting it's not like you would be bored. It might help you better if you read the myths like a story and were not simply told them.

Well, it would be helpful to actually know what it is you're specifically looking for to write. I know a lot about Greek Mythology that I would gladly help you out with, but I don't know what topic you have for your 5-paged essay.
So, would you kindly tell us what it is you're specifically looking for as a topic?

Anyways, it would definitely help us more if you actually told us what you were actually doing your project ON. I know it's Greek Mythology, but we need more than just that little detail.

Well... I typed in 'Greek gods on Mount Olympus' on Google, and found this. It lists them all and has small little blurbs on each of the gods. (Zeus, Hera, Hestia, Hades, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Aphrodite, and Demeter)
Demeter is Zeus's sister, the goddess of the Harvest, and mother of Persephone (who is married to Hades.) Aphrodite is the goddess of beauty and love, and she was made when Cronus threw Uranus's severed genitals into the ocean.
I think it'd be better to look for yourself rather than asking on a Mortal Kombat forum, though.
Your local library probably has tons of books on it.

Given how general your essay topic is, I'm surprised you are having so much trouble, especially since you still have quite a bit of time, and chose a topic that encompasses almost every god (the most important and the ones with the most stories live on Olympus).
There are a lot of stories you could use, including stuff about the creation of the Gods, Poseidon creating horses, Zeus's womanizing ways, Hera's way of getting back at Zeus/his kids, how Hades and Persephone shacked up, the creation of Aphrodite, how Hephaestus (the ugliest god) got Aphrodite (the Goddess of Love and Sex) to be his wife, how Hephaestus proved Aphrodite was cheating on him with Ares and caught them both in the act... Seriously, you could not have picked a more fruitful topic.

Find a couple of essays online. Pick and chooses different phrases that go together from difference sources....and just re-word in your own words.
This is pretty much what I did though out my education and I almost always did pretty well :/

What academic level are we talking about here? You're getting varied degrees of feedback that might be "overkill" if you're writing a middle school/high school paper.

I just want to thank everyone who posted on this topic with help. I don't usually post new topics here, but i really needed help with this one. My essay is now done and i owe a lot of the credit to the topics posted here. I will post my grade at the end of the semester if this thread is still open. Again, thank you very much to everyone who responded with ideas...
