theres only one kind of music....METAL...think about it some of the greates guitarists of all time were from metal e.g. Kirk Hammet(Metallica), Tony Iommi, Randy Rhoads, Zack Wylde(BLS), Jimmy Page(Zepplin), Dimebag Darrell(Pantera, Damageplan). Its all bout the metal!!!

I like a variety of things...but enjoy bands taht sing/rap in another language...like Fantastic Four
(German rap group) and i like House of Pain.
and Jimmy Urine's many Projects because of their randomness.BUt i like Rammstein,INdustrial,Techno,
and some blended genres. like Gansta Rap OPera
which is funny...and Gansta Rap in Barbershoppe Quartet is funny as well.

Metal, Hardcore/Metalcore, Industrial, and funnily enough anything that is acoustic and well written is in my good books (I love classical guitaring, Spanish guitaring, etc). I'll even listen to a nice piano/keyboard piece without complaining.

When I say metal I'm not talking about stuff that is pure double kick, screaming and thrash picking in no particular key. I like stuff like Beyond The Embrace, All That Remains, Bleeding Through, Evergrey, Embraced, Disarmonia Mundi, Edge of Sanity, Opeth, Dark Tranquillity, Insomnium, Into Eternity, Gardenian... You get the idea, not very fond of nu-metal *cough*new In Flames*cough*.

Same here; while I may love listening to some Hatebreed or Bleeding Through, it doesn't mean I can't appreciate and even enjoy some Beethoven
now and then (Fur Elise kicks ass!).

how could you not name Joe Satriani,Yngwie Malmsteen and Eddie Van Halen?three of the best that could very well take out any one of those guitarists including Kirk hammet.
