Finally!!! A Moderator with common sense

I logged on one day to find that one of the threads I was posting in had been closed. Curious as to why I found this:

This is completely unneccesary. None of you have any right to decide what should or shouldn't be posted on this forum, nor should you create threads to discourage users from posting their thoughts. If you don't care about others' opinions, don't read their threads. A simple solution that is so easily overlooked by the majority can solve most problems. I refuse to let an ordinary user seemingly dictate the rest of the forum with such a thread, as it ruins everything the "General" discussion stands for.

For those of you who don't know I've been posting on different messageboards for about 4 years. One of the recent ones I was on I got "deleted" from because the Admin/Moderator behavior was exactly what a moderator from this board discribed in the above message.

It was a Christian messageboard, and if I did not dot every I and cross every T he didn't like it. He dictated quite unjustly what was to be discussed and how. He finally got sick of me to the point I was "deleted" from the board.

While I have grown to dislike moderators in general, I am happy to see one that uses rationalization and logic.

Yes, we're very lucky to have the moderators here now. but at one point, back in the mk5.org days, there were quite a few bad eggs.

Most of them are pretty cool, I guess. The last time I had a problem with 'em (mostly with ChairShot) was over 2 years ago, and it was regarding the content/sizes of sigs, and I wasn't the only one involved in all that mess, so it's not like it was something personal.

I was talking about this with J (Ghaleon) the other night, and the way I see it, none of 'em have stopped me from "doing my thing" here all this time, so it's all good.

P.S. Jonin's fuckin' hot. Really.

P.P.S. Tampon's cute, but TPB ain't all that.

Chairshot shadowed me for using a Stacy sig where she was in a tennis skirt and you could see beneath it. He said 'It appears she has no panties on' lol

BUT, he was a cool ass dude. He spent a few hours helpin me on AIM to get rid of a nasty virus once, so I can't ever say anything ill of him, as he helped me when he didn't have to, and when I needed help the most.

I've had problems.

A mod closes a thread saying, "Look a few pages back". Then I put my opinion on the other thread and they come back saying, "HEY! No bumping", what the fuck bro?

I haven't had any real problems with the mods. Though I don't like the religous topic ban, but that's more the site rules than mods fault.

I don't think it's a secret that in my view, most (if not all) mkonline mods are total shits.
Not total, I guess, since they are quite often very wise, careful and you have to respect certain things about them. But if I could, I'd replace every single one of them while the devil scratched it's eye. The Devil is really fast at scratching his eye, you see.
