i have no idea what he thought he was doing, what happened wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for him.

What am I talking about you say??? well in Euro 2004 England were beating France, we deserved to win until Mr Heskey decided to make his own mark on the game, by handing the game over to France.

Not letting Gerrard off either, that was pathetic, James did well it wasn't his fault.

If your gonna deport Heskey, you might as well do the same thing with Beckham since he failed to score the penaly kick.

P.S. They should also not let him back in Spain (specifically, Madrid) after his "wonderful" season wink

Ohhh come on. You can't put blame on Becks for it. I can see why some would think that, but you gotta remember he played with Barthez, so I'm sure he knew exactly what Beckham was thinking and where he wanted to go.

I don't, the only reason I stated it was because of what someone else wrote about deporting Heskey because he caused the penaly kick for France. He screwed up, so did Beckham.

Yeah, but Heskey screws up in almost every match he plays, for England or Liverpool (and soon for Birmingham as well.) There is a reason he is nicknamed 'The Donkey' - and it's not for his kick.

About Becks, people miss penalties all the time - I don't think u can blame him. I prefer to place the blame on Rooney (although he played magnificantly) for not passing to Vassel for the open goal. He instead took two extra touches and won the penalty, ok that was still good, but Vassel would have had an empty net. And what about the ref? Silvestre was the last man back, and fouled Rooney - that's a straight red! But really England are to blame. Around the 85min they thought they'd won it, and stopped playing - and of course Zidane is amazing, so he just stepped up and placed both the free-kick and penalty into the corner of the net - almost inch perfect. But English MKO fans don't worry, they'll beat Switzerland and Croatia and meet Spain or Greece in the quarter finals...
