G4TechTV? Well here's what I know so far

Well, for those who care TechTV and G4 are merging together to form G4TechTV. Here are the list of shows that are staying on air from each station:

Now what is going to happen to people like Leo Laporte, Jessica Corbin, and Cat Shwartz? Since Tech Live and Call for Help aren't on the list, does that mean these personalities are out of jobs?!? I honestly don't know. Another thing, why keep Thunderbirds and Robot Wars?? I always thought that these were their weakest shows.

Everybody from TechTV was fired. They are hiring people back (probably with pay cuts) if they need them. I think the 3 you listed are out of a job.

That's the only show on G4 besides Pulse worth watching!

Judgement Day is one of my all time fav. shows. Tommy, hahahaha, that dude cracks me up. He's like.. the Simon Cowell of videogames.

You know at first I was against this, but watching g4 lately has kinda changed my mind. I don't think it'll be too bad cuz they air the same episode of their shows everday of the week! That is with the exception of EP, cinematech, and a few other possibles.

G4 is a station owned by Comcast. Comcast bought out TechTV and starting May 28 (Thankyou Sub-Zeromasta) both G4 and TechTV will be combined into one channel. A lot of the info is still very scetchy, but you can check out all the info at

I think its a cool idea. I have watched TechTV for awhile now and have heard good things about G4 but we have Charter so no G4, until now.

thats sucks. Starcade was an awesome show, i watched that show all the time, something about it was just fun to watch.
