There is a lot of talk about, if they should actually ever make a VR console for gaming, or if we should just continue with how we already play games. But, I thought I would add my own twist on the idea of VR gaming and where it could go.

For starters. I don't think we are really that far away from VR, if Sony or Microsoft would consider it and make such a device. For example. We already have cam's for the ps3 and xbox 360 that can scan you and put you in the game, on the screen. All the is really missing here, is a a pair of goggles and some gloves and you're almost good to go. But, what if you could scan pics of your friends to put in the game and play with or against. Hell, lets say you lost someone in real life but could scan them in VR and see them again. Maybe your mom, a gf or even a pet(think a sims version in VR), while it wouldn't be them, it would be the closest thing. Or even to scan places from your childhood as a place or set for the VR game, kinda reliving your life in a way, and visiting people from your past in VR.

Think of games like, Madden, NHL, Soccer and how great it would be to feel like you're actually there, and in VR, that would be the closest at doing just that.

I'd like to hear anyone's response to this topic and if VR interest you at all, or your take on what you would like to see them take it, if it ever comes to pass.
