Why dont you order it off the net? if you cant get it in the shops. If you go to gamespot.com you can view games by genres so you can checkout all the rpgs there. lost kingdom 1&2 are good but they are turn based.

Tales of Symphonia is coming to GCN exclusively in America, and it's a long, heavy-plotted RPG that's not turn-based. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is also an action RPG, but, as many of said, it's not quite as enjoyable in single-player mode (but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying the heck out of it solo). I'd mention Baten Kaitos, but that's turn-based, as are the Lost Kingdom games. I'm not certain about Skies of Arcadia, though, but I imagine it's turn-based, as well. Action RPGs are a rare breed, indeed. Fatality.

Skies of Aracdia is turn based. It's alright. An interesting concept. Graphics aren't to great, but that is becuase it was ported from the Dreamcast. As for PSO, I suggest ordering it online also. It's the only action RPG I know for the GC.

Skies of Arcadia is the worst game ive ever played, lol. But I will look into looking online, and into seeing if anyone i know will lend me their credit cards so that I may purchase the game, heh. thanks all

I would reccommend FFCC on GC or even GS TLA for GBA, That is a great game.

I'm not 100% sure (Hell, I'm not even 10% sure) but I think Custom Robo is a sort of action/RPG game.

Golden Sun rocks, but I haven't played the 2nd. It's the only turn based rpg aside from the Mario ones that I enjoy playing

Custom Robo= Hard fucking deep inacessable shit. Multiplayer is therefore incomprehensible.

theres a summoner series game on the gamecube, they have PSO Ep. III which is card based... you could try Pokemon colisseum(sp?) wich does have an RPG mode within it... I'm not sure if you need a GBA or not... theres Zelda 4 swords adventures which also requires gba link up and theres supposedly a deal with 'squeenix' and Nintendo to make a game that 'summarizes' the 3 PSOne Final Fantasies into one game... but if you have a PS2 I recommend suikoden 3 which is not graphic heavy but more gameplay/story driven...

I honestly believe that FFCC was a dissapointment! I am a huge FF fan but, after 7 the series was lowering it's standards. (It really hurts me to say that BTW)
Lost kingdoms 1 was a good game, I bought it for $20 due to the release of the second game at a sale, and it was worth every cent!
However Skies of Arcadia should really display how good the GC can be!

I absolutely fuckin cant wait for Paper Mario 2. The trailer and screen shots are awesome, the game will be kick ass. I'm just dieing here to get my hands on it and play it.

I cant wait for Mario Tennis, Mario Party 6, and Mario 128 either.

Skies of Arcadia really confused me when I played it once. The pirates, the androgynous characters. *I believe, unless im confusing it with FF* and just overall gameplay.

Eh, it was alright. Graphics needed an upgrade. And the battle system was kinda poor. Neat concept though. It did have some fun moments. Oh well, I'm sure a better RPG will make its way to the GC.
