There was this awesome old game for the SNES called Plok. It was a platformer similar to Mario but it was a lot more odd and there were a bunch of funky enemies to fight.
Basically you played as this guy named Plok, and you have to go through each level and rescue your flags frok fleas. In the first "world" you just need to get to the end of the level and you win, but after you defeat the first boss your objectives change and you have to kill all the fleas by throwing your limbs at them to get your flag back.
It was really fun and addictive but sadly it never caught on. I guess Plok was one too many cartoony videogame character than people could take. Still, if you have a SNES and are looking for a fun challenging game, I highly reccomend you check out Plok.

The Ace Attorney games are extremely underrated here in Finland and I can just barely ever spot any of the games even in Gamestop.
If Ace Attorney vs. Professor Layton gets an international release, it's still propably going to be hard as hell to find here even if it's new.

Not sure if it counts... but
Saint Seiya - Hades
I wanted to play this game so FREAKIN bad, but it was never released in the US.... just japan and EU.... which reminds me how unfair and stupid the whole Region thing is... total abuse

I want the first Clock Tower (aka Clock Tower: The First Fear) to be released in America someday. It's heavily based off of Argento (specifically Phenomena (which is fantastic!))
Cool point-and-click survival horror. It was never released outside of Japan and was only on the Super Famicom (SNES), Wonderswan, PC, and the Playstation.
People have made ROMs and translations, but I want an official release, even just on PSN.
The second one (Clock Tower (in the US)) is really fun, though it has several flaws.
Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within is universally known to be pretty crappy and have humongous flaws, such as bullshit endings occurring due to not interacting with specific items scenarios earlier (and without warning.)
Clock Tower 3 is completely unrelated (there's a very, very slight reference to someone mentioned in CT1 and 2) and pretty ridiculous, though I do enjoy it.
I doubt CT (CT:TFF) will ever be officially released in the US, though someone did make a 'remake' of it called 'Remothered.' Maybe I'll check it out someday...
Edit:
That movie is so awesome, yet so underrated. My only qualm with it is the stupid metal music that plays during some death scenes (and I wish Jennifer Connelly would have used her powers more.)
One of the antagonists (Ms. Mary) looks an awful lot like Daria Nicolodi (in Phenomena), and the son (Bobby) is quite similar to the deformed 'Palau.' Someone even gets killed with a pair of scissors.
The protagonist of the game (Jennifer) was clearly modeled, and named after Jennifer Connelly.
