I actually can't even put into words how much I love that woman. It might sound pathetic but I was literally moved to tears at her revelation in RE:5 and when Chris says "I don't want to hurt you!" in the middle of their battle I sobbed like a bitch. It was an odd mix of elation for seeing her back (in a bad ass kevlar battlesuit, blonde hair and some kick ass martial arts) and heartbreak at seeing a character I grew up enamoured with represent everything she ever stood up against (her role as Wesker and Excella's puppet was probably the most insulting thing that Wesker could have done to her, have her unwillingly become his right hand and actually assist him with his projects). Ever since I picked up Resident Evil on the Ps1 all those years ago, she's been an icon to me. The day Jill stops appearing in Resident Evil is the day I give up on it entirely.
