Gene Wilder, known the world over for his role of Willy Wonka in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory", died on Sunday due to complications from Alzheimer's.
Aside from Willy Wonka, Wilder starred in some of the most beloved comedies of all time, including Mel Brooks' " Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein". He would later team with Richard Pryor in films such as " Stir Crazy", Silver Streak", and(one of my personal favorites) "See No Evil, Hear No Evil". He was also a screenwriter, director, and author.
" Hold your breath, make a wish, count to three... You will be missed, sir. Rest in Peace.
