Yes, In the year 2012, I still have never had a cell phone and I'm 19 years old lol.
My family is very old school and we still just use the house phone. I wanted to ask you guys a question on what kind of plan I should get. I'm thinking about getting one of those Straight Talk phones where there is no contract, because I am the only one In my family that actually wants a cell phone. I was wondering if the Straight Talk is a good way to go or if I should choose a different company that has the same *no contract* deal. Some help from the users on MKO would be much appreciated.

If you want no contracts then Koodo is good, you can look it up it uses a tab to pay off your phone, you take off a certain % of your bill each month to pay off the phone
And they usually dont cost much
you can can also cancel anytime and if you paid off your phone you keep it
They have pretty good phones too even blackberrys
You can get a really good deal for like $40 a month with pretty much everything you need
And I mean there is always a plan that will work for you
From what part of Russia are you from? Knowing that Russia doesn't have a cell phone brand of its own, and that taxes are super high in Russia for foreign import products - if possible at all - I would recommend to have a vacation in Europe and purchase some precious stuff greatly cheaper from here. No less than 1/5 of hotel customers in Finland were Russian (majorly from St. Petersburg) in December and many of them were here to buy Nokia and Apple cell phones. I for one have always had just Nokias.
Do what you feel the best.

Well if you live in Russia then I dont know what to tell you
I know that Straight talk is pretty good, especially if you dont want to get into a plan with company. It has pretty good coverage every where you go. Most of the time you get unlimited talk, text, pic messaging, and web. That amounts to like 45 U.S dollars a month or so, I think. I'm sure if you want less that it costs less.
As far as other companies, I'm not sure what other service providers you have, but if you have Cricket, they put out some good data plans as. Pretty cheap on their per month rates. Great local coverage for cell phone service; however, not so great if you are traveling a lot.
Hope this helps!
