Basic do the job or would I need a deluxe package?

If you get the complete basic package, you can get a good amount of cable channels, great internet, and phone, I'm a bit fuzzy on the price right now, but it's comparable to comcast, but it's of better quality in my view, I had Comcast for like 4 years and I've had AT&T for almost 4 and I wouldn't go back, but that's just me. The deluxe packages are for stuff like HD, more music video channels, more cultural channels, international stuff, like BBC and stuff, but you won't be hurting for stuff like MTV, LOGO, etc because they're included.

What speeds are they promising you? Sucks but it seems internet providers are nickel and dimming users for faster speeds including comcast and verizon which I have.

Comcast sucks everywhere though, one area of any town might be fine but move a block over and the 20 mbits you are paying for only pipes about 3-5.
