I just thought on great movies I've seen, suprisingly I saw both at school. I saw "The Mission" with Robert De Niro and Liam Neeson in my world geography class last year and that movie was quite side and the music was touching.
The Last of the Mohicans updated version was also a great movie with great orchestral music.

The Ring has lovely music (me <3 Hans Zimmer). Marilyn Manson also did a very nice job with Resident Evil.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV) also has wonderful scores, such as Buffy and Angel's love theme from season 2, and the season 5 finale theme.

This thread owns. I love Chorus/Instrumental scores. Heres a few that come to mind:
The Godfather Trilogy - Come on. Amazing. The best theme ever.
Equilibrium - Score filled with both great instrumental and vocal tracks. Plus fast paced music for the shootouts.
The Boondock Saints - Chorus and Hard Beats.
Requiem For a Dream - Haunting, One of the best movie scores ever.
Road To Perdition - Fits the movie perfectly.
A Clockwork Orange - Very haunting and memorable. Features some classic Beethoven. Great stuff.
The Crow/The Crow: City of Angels - While the 2nd movie isn't as popular, they both featured GREAT score. Beautiful Chorus and instrumentals.
The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly - Beautiful music. Especially the classic theme.
The Way of The Gun - Great music all throughout starting with the badass Theme.
Candyman - A Horror movie with a great piano/vocal score.
Hellraiser Series - Another Horror series with haunting vocal cues. Theme is amazing
Ah... thats all I can think of right now. Theres HUNDREDS more that I know of but they're just not coming to me now.. Oh well. You should look into these.
