SonOf100Maniacs : I'm with blade, even tho i'm not a Rap fan, Rock/metal is my thing, i think it has it's place in the new GTA, i like the new direction it's going in, and i'm prity sure that there will be a number of different stations you will be able to tune into just like in previous titles so it wont all be rap, and as for it being all gansta rap like so what, your not going to have a boy scout jacking cars and doing drive by's and the mafia style has been done in the previous titles, just give it a chance, there arn't any trailers yet to see how it plays so wait before passing judgement.

yes it will. people said that about 70s and 80s music. who listens that it now except people from that era. and i try not to listen to but people like to turn it up as loud as they can in there car because they think it is cool. im sorry but i just cant stand rap. i even refused to date a girl who only listens to rap. its just one of the big things in this world i cant stand, like dave matthews band. wow...well, you have hurt me, as I love rap and I really like Dave Matthews. I seen him twice in concert and it truly is an amazing show. He does 2 shows a year here which usually sell out in about 24 hours.

Anyways, I consider myself eclectic. I listen to mostly rap cd's, tho at work I listen to the alternative, and I like many other types of music.

You can tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to...the more styles of music, the more that person is accepting of other people and thier ideas.

So, I must ask, 1000Maniacs, what music do you like?

I mean, never mind that rap has been around since the early 80's, i guess its a 20 year phase. *rolls eyes* I think rap dominating has a lot to do with the fact 98% of today's rock music is a steaming pile of shit. It's not good. It seems to be much too whiny. What ever happened to the good stuff? IMO, Rock has not been worth a crap in 20 years, except for a few exceptions. Hair metal, grunge, all that metal garbage, pantera and the like, is shit.

Not that rap is very good at them moment. Eminem sucks and Nelly and 50 cent are far far overrated. I miss the glory days of Notorious B.I.G., 2pac, NWA, Dr.Dre, Snoop Doggy Dog, Easy E, Naughty by Nature, etc. Which is one reason I will like this game. Although rap isn't ALL bad, but American rap is kind of in a rut at the moment(well American music in general). For anyone who truely likes rap, I suggest checking out some foreign rap. Turkish rap is the shiz(check out Nefret, I got this one song by him called 'Istanbul', its on FIRE). Also Punjabi MC is good, everbody should check out his re-do of What's My Name(old Snoop Dogg song).

There's a kool new feature which someone else mentioned if you eat junk food, your gonna get all chunky and stuff, then you could go to the gym and work out to lose weight and become muscular. I think that's super kool, I'm gonna make my guy as fat as he can be lol.

You also gotta eat to keep your stamina high, so you have to eat every now and then.

I love the whole west coast gangsta type setting GTASA is going with. I always wanted GTA to end up like that. I just hope black people wont bitch about the main character and the game.
