Parents, Police, teachers. Basically anyone who has "authority" over you. If so, what were the cirumstances, and, now that it's over, do you think it was a just rebellion or injust? Enlighten me. Fatality.

I have a very difficult time trusting authority and being allowed to be lead in general. The exception is police, I won't spout off to or give police trouble.

I use to be very rebellious, mostly toward teachers, church officials, and employers. I'd find something insuffcient in their leadership skills and not be allowed to take into consideration their input on anything. I'd do things my way and it was costly. It cost some relationships, sometimes it killed my credibility with teachers, and it even cost me a job.

Now since I've gotten older I've learned I can voice my concerns of bad leadership without causing problems. This mostly involves straight honest communication and compromise.

People who are over me now, know that I have no problem speaking up when leadership sucks. In addition they know I'm really trying to establish a solution rather than cause problems.

The abuse of authority will always cause rebellion...

However if you are a beautiful, sexy, seductive, well maintained, loving hearted woman who treats her employess with respect and esteem than I would see no reason to go against her...

or as if she wants me to... press up against her... you know who you are... ;)

Yesterday my dad was flipping my lightswitch on and off to get me up, so I got a screw driver and some pliers and took it out of my wall, put masking tape over it, and wrote "There is no switch."

He got angry, but he's a bastard.

So yeah one time I was all like "Hey ma, I'm goin' out with Nicky and Vinny!!" and she's all up in my face like "You can't go out son, it's 2 AM on a school night!" so I go "Bitch you can't talk to me like that! I don't need your rules!!!" then I totally kicked her down the stairs and ran over a policeman in my dad's car. Damn authority. furious

My rebellion goes as far as being lazy. Thats all.
I never saw the point in rebelling against my parents and doing other such stupid things. It's all a waste of time really, what are you actually achieving? I'd rather spend my time preparing food or doing something semi-useful.

I would say that in a way, I rebel against my dad just through the political views I have. Let me put it this way: he watches Fox News and listens to Rush Limbaugh; I read Michael Moore books and Ted Rall comics. I mean, I seriously and strongly believe in a lot of liberal viewpoints, but I don't think I'd be nearly as passionate about it if I hadn't been exposed to so much of the conservative side (thanks to my dad) that made me realize it just didn't seem right to me.

I don't know if I'd consider this actually "rebelling," since my dad respects my views and doesn't try to force his on me. But I think that subconsciously it might be a way for me to rebel with unnecessarily hurting anyone or getting into trouble.

My mom:"I had you inside me for 9 months, I think that's a good reason to listen to me"

Me:"I never asked to be born in the first place"

There are three rules for doing scientific research. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.

I generally like to cooperate with and trust leadership of any organisation I am involved with; I am not a priori inclined to be a rebel.

However, when I feel I'm not being respected, or when something happens that really runs counter to my principles, I won't hesitate to pursue the matter and oppose those who did something wrong.

I can also become very angry if people try to frame me into something I am not. I am generally an angry young man, but not an unreasonable one, though.

I used to roll around with a whole crew of people that just fucked things up. I took a road block sign with the blinking lights on it and stuck it in a police officer's front lawn at 2 in the morning because my friend's quad was impounded by him.

In school when a teacher threatened me with detentions I would tell her to fuck off and that I don't deserve that shit from her. I would also crumple the detention slip and toss it to the other side of the room to make her pick it up. I might have sounded like an asshole but I had a whole class of kids supporting what I did because the teacher was just a plain ol' bitch.

I would just about break every rule that I felt was not right, and I used to do it in front of the people who made the rules to let them see how stupid it was. I used to get called in the office and have a half hour argument on how the rules of my school were to be followed and yada yada.
