Since I wasn't born till 1980, I have never seen a real hippie, let alone a 'beatnik'.

I have seen enough 'fake' hippies in school and shit to know what they are about, but what is a beatnik??

Right now I'm leanin towards hippie, just for the open sex and pot, but I wanna see what a 'Beatnik' is/does before I decide.

Some say I look like a hippy already, except I wear black t-shirts. And I'm anti-war and liberal anyway, so it's not much of a stretch.

If I had to be a Beatnik or a Hippie, I'd grudgingly choose Beatnik because even though they're pretentious little bastards, at least pot hasn't addled their brains to the point of non-function.

Well i'm half way to hippieness... All i need for the full deck is to grow out what hair i have left and not shower. I already smoke bud and don't cut my toenails that often.

I dislike both groups, but if my memory were to be erased, I wouldn't care which.

id have to say hippie because my hair is already really long, i would just have to change most of my political views and the way i dress act and talk.
