The word "official" has lost all meaning on this site. A lot of users think they can trademark a topic by putting offical in the thread name, but it just doesn't work like that.

I "officially" delete the word "Official" out of all "Official" threads, unless they are "officially" "official".

People, just create threads, the word "official" means nothing. It doesn't make your topic any less likely to plummet to the bottom of the forum. "Official" threads would be ones that remained at the top of the forum at all times, meaning there are no official threads in the General Discussion forum. It would need to be stickied, and we are not going to do any such thing for any general topic.
If you want to create a topic discussing the said subject, then do so. Be aware that the word "official" doesn't mean users must discuss anything about that subject in your thread, only for as long as it is on the first page.
