I'm not asking where to get MAME or ROM's for that matter I'm just wondering how reliable it is and how is the quality of the games when runned on it? I've tired it before a long time ago on my old PC and found it to be crap when running Mega Man X, really bad clipping, and missing graphics. I got a newer PC now and was thinking of downloading it again, but I don't want to waste my time if it's just going to be as crappy.

Mega Man X isn't available on MAME. It's an arcade emulator, and MMX is a SNES/PC game...

MAME is outstanding. Especially on newer PC's. Get Kaillera while you're at it.

I have MAME and I love it.

there are some small problems with some sprites, or some glitches that pop up once in a while, but overall it's Arcade perfect.

This is a Screen Capture from MAME on my comp.

It's a dream come true.

It's Arcade Perfect even the sound.
