It's 2:30pm from the time I'm posting this in NY, we are done with the hurricane.

North of Long Island, majority of NYC is ok, no major damages, but Coney Island, Long Beach, East Hampton and most of coastal NJ areas are pretty bad.

im used to hurricanes, i live in puerto rico, we are usually the first ones to receive them, irene was ok, but i remember hurricane hugo in 1989 it was category 3, 130 mph winds, we had no water or electric service for a month, hope all is well in nyc and all of those affected.
