Welcome to XBox. Its very good once you hook the xbox into 5.1 reciever. Playing Halo or GTA is just awesome as the sounds surround you DURING gameplay (something Pisstation can't do!). It just kicks so much butt. Xbox live can only be used via high speed, but maybe you can trick it if you use a network, but everyone I've played on it was high speed. New xboxes should come with a few free months of live.
i guess i'll have to use my playstation 2 for playing online. well if MK:D is broadband only for PS2 i'll have to get high speed internet. does xbox live setup the same as PS2 online? can you still play online without LIVE?

Technically...but you have to use tunnelling software, such as XB Connect. It essentially makes any system link game playable online as if it were a LAN - essentially tricking the system into thinking it's playing a LAN game, when, in fact, it's connected online...
won't that tear up the system?
