I'm 22 years old, in college and on Mother's Day I found out I am an UNCLE

hey everyone,

just a shout out for all you guys out there who love mortal kombat as much as i do. As i read these threads about friendship and all, i realize why i keep coming back to this site; for the (un)spoken connections we somehow share. Thats why i wanted to share this information.

My brother who is 25/26 just told my family and i that his girlfriend is 3 months pregnant! Life just changes so fast, all the sudden i will have a little niece or nephew in 6 months time! whoa...kinda scary when i think about it.

My love life hasnt gotten that serious yet. I have been in a relationship for nearly 4 years now, and it has been an unforgettable ride. My girlfriend and i got together when we were freshmen, and living in the same dorm. We have been close ever since. However, come this July, she will be moving down to LA area to pursue her focus (fashion) while i finish up school here in northern california until march. it'll be tough without her, thats for sure.

She doesnt care for videogames and movies that have blood in them...but somehow we were made for each other. Wonder what is in store for me in the next couple of months.

congrats bro, i know how u feel man, when my bro told me that Lisa was 4 months along i didnt know what to think but Douglas is now goin on 3 and i dont know how ive lived without him...

and i know what u mean about ur gf dude, i dated a girl for a little over a year and a half but she loved gory movies and video games, but she didnt like anime and the types of music i liked but still it was great the whole time we where together but then her cousins stirred up trouble and that was the end of it... shes married now and i still think about her... oh damn, sorry to rant, wasnt paying attention...

nah its cool, im really looking forward to my new niece or nephm and being able to have an influence in their life. I felt like posting the thing about my girl to let people know a little bit more about me.

haha yeah for sure. I dont have a big family, and what little i have live way on the east side of the country over in Florida, Alabama, and at one point NY.

I lived in Hawaii for nearly 11 years growing up so i never got a chance to know my family outside of brother sister and parents. My bro still lives in hawaii, where my new niece or nephew will be. Far away, but i hope to be able to visit as often as possible. just dont want to feel like a distant relative because i know how that feels...
