Not everyone has a gun, yet, but we're working on it. Although everyone one in my family as at lease one gun (My mother and two sisters all have .380mm semi-autos also. Grandparents have a shotgun and a .22 rifle. My Father used to have a whole collection. As for my aunts and uncle I'm not sure. I know my uncle used to be an MP and I saw him firing a few rounds at my grandparents place but never bother to ask what he had.)

As for how it is in TX...it HOT! Its already in the 90's, crap can't wait until the next tropical storm. At least they cool things down a little.
