Let me splain....no, too long, let me sum up.

Her name was Natalie, and I fell in love with her the second I met her. For the seven months we'd been friends I tended to her every whim that I could. We sat next to eachother on the bus. And at the end of the year, we finally made out on the last day, which really meant something to me.

But not to her, that night she went to a party and was making out with tons a guys she didnt even know and here I am thinking that we finally shared a precious moment only to find out I'd been used.

look I'm not Dr. Love but I can say this...

1. you automatically entered the 'friends' zone, so that ruled you out, you became a confidante, a guy friend... not cool, way harder to get her to love you, but if you did it she'd become something more meaningful...

2. You smothered her, 'attending to her every whim' gave you too much "buddy time" together, she never had time to think about you cuz you were always there...

3. a whole year? are you serious? you never made a move? maybe she had to make one on you, she only made out with guys which is not bad at all if you truly loved her you'd look past that, other than the 'possibility' that you saw there..

lastly, I admire that you remain idealistic in the romanticism that you believed would blossom from this friendship, but girls today are really more toward guys with confidence who know what they want and go out to get it...
