i do hate icp..not just them, but rap/hip hop in general. i think its pretty dumb when some rappers are all like "fuck yo mamme i did her in the ass" (or something dumb like that) and then get up on stage and say "i wanna thank god for this award"..lmao.

I don't care if ICP aint your thing. Both MK and ICP are entertainment and are made by "real people". So no, there's not a difference. If ICP claimed to be "keeping it real" like every other rapper out there than I could understand what you're saying. But they don't. They paint their faces for Christ sakes and throw pop. MK isn't considered a "real" fighter by virtually everyone out there. But does that make a difference to you? Probably not. Same for us ICP fans. I don't give a fuck if people don't consider them "real" music or whatever. They entertain me. Same for MK.

You do realize angry black is a regular on the Howard Stern show, right? He called to piss them off and after they were off the air they went down to the lobby. The security guard explained he's a regular and that's what he does. There's even a picture of them with angry black floating around after that debacle and he calls to talk shit to them everytime they're on now. It's called acting and I'm happy you buy into it. You'd make a great wrestling fan.

ICP is one of the worst groups ever... but also one of the smartest. I hate them for both those reasons. They annoy me to no end with their garbage music, but they make so much money off it. They came from nothing, started their own record label, advertise their own stuff, produce their own stuff, they put up their own money for that movie you speak of, they put up their own money for those action figures you speak of also, they put up their own money for props and what not that they use their shows. Now.... name ONE other musical artist that has done and still does that. Just one, that's all I ask. It can't be done. You know why? Record labels, Radio stations, Mf'nTV, endorsement's from other sponsers will set up/take care of all of that for any other artist. Period.

You have to search for ICP to find them though. The mainstream ignores them unless they're dissing. They've bootlegged and sold so much shit without ever being sued or tried to be sued it's silly. I'm a big fan of hip-hop,rap,soul,oldies,rock just music in general . I listen to all hip-hop like Nas,Talib Kweli,Common,Psycho Realm,Cypress Hill,Jay-Z,B.I.G,Pac,Big L,Big Pun,Armaggedon,SPM,Mr. Shadow,Shyne etc. I just think ICP is PURE GARBAGE, they may be good businessmen but that doesn't take away the fact that they are talentless. I think it's absurd when they get compared to artist with real talent and real creativity. If I was high off acid n shrooms i'm sure i'd come up with the same stuff they do. I find good in even the worst artist, but ICP is neither a creative or talented group. Their make-up isn't even original, ever heard of KISS.

I suppose you're sort of right. They're in that sort of in between stage of mainstream and underground. Not mainstream enough to be on MTV (at least, I don't think they're on MTV), but not underground enough to have to order their CDs online from overseas.
EDIT - If you want to see a funny way of making money, look into AFX's Smojphace EP. He puts one killer track that everybody who listens to him would have to have and fills the rest of the CD with noise.
